Common Questions

  • Do I need any experience to take a class?
Not at all. The beginner workshop is designed for complete newcomers. We’ll start with centering and shaping, and you’ll finish the day with your first bowls or cups.
  • What should I wear?
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting clay on, and bring an apron if you have one. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety. We provide all clay and tools.
  • How long does it take to complete a piece?
A single pot can take 2-3 sessions to finish (throwing, drying, trimming, and glazing). Most students fire their first pieces 1-2 weeks after the workshop.
  • How much do custom commissions cost?
Commissions start at €300 and vary based on complexity, quantity, and glaze finishes. We’ll discuss your vision and create a quote before proceeding.
  • When are classes offered?
Beginner workshops run most weekends. Intermediate series runs Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings. Private sessions are by appointment. Email us for the current schedule.
  • Can I use the studio between classes?
Yes! Studio members have access to the space and kiln for their own projects. We offer monthly memberships starting at €80.
  • Do you ship commissioned pieces?
Yes, we ship carefully packed pieces anywhere in Europe. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and destination.
  • Can groups book workshops?
Absolutely. We offer group rates for 4+ people and can schedule workshops for team-building or celebrations.
